How it Works
Come on in, fill out a form and we will set you up with the best equipment based on ability, package, and snow conditions! We are a first come- first serve rental shop, so no reservations are required.
We have everything you need – ski, snowboard, and clothing rentals for the entire family, from tiny tots to adults.
Returns made easy! Enjoy our drive through return process. Drive up to the back return door, we will help you unload your equipment and check you in, then drive away.
here are a few tips:
- Bring the socks you plan to ski in to make sure the boots properly fit.
- PEAK pickup times. 8 – 9:30am & 4-6pm are typically our busiest times. Remember, you can always pick up your rentals the day before any time after 3PM with no additional charge.
- Be aware of busy seasons. If you are planning to come to Sunrise Ski Park over the winter holiday, President’s day weekend, or other holidays be prepared for the possibility of a little wait.
Ski & Snowboard Rental FAQ and Policies
How long does the equipment fitting take?
In general each person takes about 10-15 minutes to fit with gear. We aim to get people in and out as quickly as possible, but we don’t ever want to sacrifice quick turn around time for your comfort & safety.
Do you rent helmets/goggles/clothing?
Yes! We rent everything but socks and long underwear. You can add a helmet to any rental or rent one on its own. We also rent goggles, jackets, pants, gloves, and wrist guards.
Group Rentals
Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Please give us a call to let us know when your group is planning to rent.
When do I return the equipment?
All equipment is due back by 6PM on your last day of renting. Want to extend your rental? No problem, just give us a call & let us know–we can settle up when you return.
What if I need my equipment adjusted?
We don’t ever want you to be uncomfortable. Give us a call at
928-367-7051 we may have a technician on the slopes to make any adjustments, or you may take it to the Sunrise Rental Shop for any adjustments needed.
Do you have rental packages?
You bet! Check out our package description pages for detailed information & pricing on all of our ski & snowboard rental packages.
What if I have my own boots?
Not a problem, we have a ski only package. (Please note that we will need to inspect your boots to make sure they are compatible with our bindings)
No Refunds are Provided for Early Returns
Here’s the thing: once you have the equipment, we are unable to rent it to another person. So we always recommend starting with the minimum number of days you want and then extending the rental as needed, based on availability.
Equipment Change Charge
So you want to try skiing AND snowboarding? We can swap out your gear & set you up on different equipment for just $10. Limitations apply during peak seasons.
Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Rental Restrictions
Renters seeking Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe rental equipment should have a proficient knowledge of the conditions. We reserve the right to refuse Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe gear to anyone that we feel cannot safely use the equipment or if conditions are deemed unfavorable.
